The Bucklawren Walk

15 minutes each way

A much-loved choice for a leisurely stroll to unwind and stretch your legs! Simply pick a direction, left or right, from Bucklawren, and continue along that path at every junction. Before you know it, you’ll complete a full loop with gentle terrain and breathtaking vistas of the countryside and coastline.

Circular Walk to Millendreath

29 minutes each way

Start your adventure by heading downhill from Bucklawren towards Millendreath. When you reach Millendreath, turn left and climb the steep lane to join the coastal path. Follow it to Bay View, then continue on the road until you reach The Monkey Sanctuary. Take a left, walk for about half a mile, then turn left again at the crossroads. After a quarter mile, you’ll be back at Bucklawren.

Walk to Looe

1 HOUR EACH WAY

Begin your journey by descending from Bucklawren to Millendreath, where you can choose the steps on your right to follow the Coastal Path leading to Looe via Plaidy Beach; if you fancy a different route back, you can hail a taxi from the bridge or catch a bus to No Man’s Land and enjoy a scenic walk back to Bucklawren.

Circular Walk to Seaton

59 MINUTES EACH WAY

Set off by taking the road in front of the farmhouse. At the crossroads, proceed straight ahead. Eventually, you’ll come to another road where you’ll need to turn right. Continue along until you reach Keveral, where a track will lead you down to Seaton via a footpath. To make your way back to Bucklawren, take a left turn just after crossing the bridge, and follow the road uphill; it will lead you back to the Keveral turning.
